Exclusive representationPrinted circuit boards (PCB) from a Chinese factory, with technical representation in Brazil
Printed circuit boards are the foundation of any electronic equipment. As the exclusive representative in Brazil of a Chinese PCB manufacturer, Fábio Rekowsky Serviços gives your company access to factory pricing with technical and commercial dialogue in your own language: you send the Gerber files, we check the specification and run the quotation directly at the factory.

What a printed circuit board is, and how to buy one from China
A printed circuit board (PCB) is the substrate that holds and electrically connects the components of an electronic device, through copper traces etched onto an insulating laminate — normally FR-4.
Buying PCBs directly from China offers competitive pricing but exposes the buyer to two concrete risks: a mismatch between the Gerber files sent and the board produced, and quality drift between the prototype and series production. Add to that negotiating a technical specification in a second language with a counterpart twelve time zones away. The exclusive representation exists to resolve those points.
In practice, your company buys the boards directly from the approved Asian manufacturer, negotiating in your own language, with the specification checked before quoting and the lot inspected at the factory before shipment. The import operation itself — clearance, freight, and nationalization — stays with your broker or foreign trade department; the technical line to the factory is ours, and it stays open after the order.
Types of printed circuit board available
Every type below is quoted from the Gerber files and the technical specification.
| Board type | Specification | Typical application |
|---|---|---|
| Single-sided PCB | 1 layer | Low-complexity circuits, high volume, minimum cost per piece. |
| Double-sided PCB | 2 layers | Boards routed on both sides with plated through-holes. The most common type in industry. |
| Multilayer PCB | 4, 6, 8+ layers | Equipment with high component density and a need for dedicated power and ground planes. |
| Flexible PCB (Flex) | Polyimide substrate | Assemblies that require bending, tight space, or movement between parts of the equipment. |
| Rigid-flex PCB | Rigid-Flex | Rigid and flexible sections on the same board, eliminating internal connectors and cabling. |
| High-frequency PCB | Rogers, PTFE | RF, telecom, and radar applications where the dielectric constant has to be controlled. |
What the exclusive PCB representation delivers
- Chinese factory pricing with technical and commercial dialogue in your language.
- Specification checked against the Gerber files before quoting, not after the lot is built.
- Lot inspection followed at the factory, before shipment.
- Technical representation with the manufacturer throughout the relationship.
- Samples and prototypes available before series production.
- Flexible minimum volume, workable for small and mid-sized companies.
How to buy PCBs: from Gerber file to placed order
-
Send the Gerber files and board specification
You send the Gerber files, the drill file, and the board specification: layer count, thickness, laminate material, surface finish, solder mask color, copper weight, and quantity. The more complete the specification, the more precise the quote.
-
Technical and commercial quotation
The specification is reviewed with the factory and the quote comes back with unit price by quantity band, production lead time, and commercial terms. Any discrepancy between the Gerber files and the specification is flagged at this stage, before it turns into rework.
-
Approval and order placement
With the quote approved, the order is placed with the specifications recorded in writing and the production lead time confirmed. For new or more complex boards, a prototype run before series production is recommended.
-
Manufacturing and pre-shipment inspection
The factory produces the lot and the pre-shipment inspection verifies dimensional conformity, finish, marking, electrical test, and packaging before anything ships. This stage is what keeps series production matching the approved sample.
-
Formalization and ongoing technical support
The technical and commercial negotiation is closed with the manufacturer, with specification, price, and lead time on record. Customs clearance and transport are handled by your broker or your foreign trade department — we remain the technical contact with the factory, from shipment through any nonconformity that needs resolving.
Common questions about printed circuit boards
What is the difference between PCB and PCI?
None technically. PCB is the English abbreviation for printed circuit board; PCI is the Portuguese one. Both name the same component. In the Brazilian market, "PCI" is more common in technical documents and "PCB" in engineering and purchasing vocabulary.
What information is needed to quote a printed circuit board?
To quote a PCB we need the Gerber files, the drill file, and the specification: layer count, dimensions, board thickness, laminate material (usually FR-4), copper weight, surface finish (HASL, ENIG, OSP), solder mask color, and the quantity per lot.
Can we buy samples or prototypes before series production?
Yes. For new or more complex boards, the recommendation is always to run a prototype lot for electrical and mechanical validation before releasing series production. It removes the risk of discovering a design or specification error across thousands of pieces.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum is flexible and set case by case according to board type and complexity. The representation was structured to serve small and mid-sized companies too — the ones that normally cannot negotiate directly with Chinese factories because they do not reach the standard MOQ.
Who handles importing the boards?
Fábio Rekowsky Serviços acts as the commercial and technical representative at the interface with the manufacturer — it is not a trading company and does not run the import operation. Customs and tax procedures are carried out by your company or by the customs broker you already use, and we can introduce specialist partners if you do not yet have that structure. The purchase is made directly from the approved factory, with our technical and commercial support.
Need a quote for printed circuit boards?
Send the Gerber files and the board specification. The quote comes back with price by quantity band, production lead time, and commercial terms — with any discrepancy between the Gerber files and the specification already flagged.
